Buttermilk Waffles & The Proverbs 31 Woman

This week I did something huge… I made butter! All on my own. I was proud of myself and also realized how easy it is! Sometimes we really just hype things up in our own heads!

If you didn’t know, butter is just made from whipping cream until the butter forms. And once the butter forms, it separates, and the leftover liquid is what we know as “buttermilk” because it’s the part of the cream that’s left behind from the butter making process.

I saved the buttermilk and this morning made the whole family waffles for breakfast.

I also made homemade bone broth for the first time this week… and I’ve been drinking it every morning instead of coffee.

Ever since I got married, almost 6 years ago, one of my biggest goals has always been to be the best housewife I can be. My aim is to get as close to my ideal as possible… the proverbs 31 woman. This means working on my business goals, marriage goals, and family goals as well.

As I near the third trimester and get ready to welcome my 3rd baby boy, I have been all about making foods from scratch, and being as frugal as possible.
