So yes, my biggest dating advice is to STOP DATING and start being friends.

We are so eager to be loved that we jump into relationships without ever knowing this person. I think it's crazy that this concept of love can be so mesmerizing that we become vulnerable and give so much of ourselves to complete strangers and then are confused why we got hurt or why they "aren't the person I thought they were".

I was made aware of this trend in myself when I fell in love with a stranger, because yes, it's possible. It didn't last and I was heartbroken but then I thought to myself "Would we even be friends?" and the truth is we were never friends. Attraction is what brought us together, not mutual interests, values or goals which is why things didn’t last.

it's hard to go back to being friends but it's always a love story when best friends become lovers.
