My Favorite Ikea Items in my Loft

Ikea has a lot of inventory, and while not all of it is a win, I really believe certain pieces are Ikea are design-forward while remaining inexpensive and accessible.

One area we all can agree that Ikea does amazingly is storage. The Ikea Mackapar shoes storage/cabinet is $100 each and provides a lot of extra storage space while remaining a very neutral and camouflaged addition to a space. It does require hardware into the wall behind it so keep that in mind if your rental is quite strict about nailing.

The Ikea Hovet mirror is such a staple and while there are slightly cheaper options, I really think investing in this mirror is worth it. Mirrors really make a space seem so much bigger, and this one is incredibly heavy, durable, and modern-looking.

The Ikea Froset chair was a FB marketplace find. My loft has a lot of Scandinavian wood accents which makes Ikea such a good resource. This chair feels minimal, provides extra seating, and fills a space just enough without making it feel crowded.

The Kyrre stool was a recent purchase because I was look to add some color to my space, it also comes in blue and in a neutral Scandinavian wood. Could be good as a minimal nightstand or as a plant stand. The Ikea Tallbyn table lamp is so heavy and beautifully crafted, it emulates a similar style to much more expensive lamps. I own three Ikea lamps and this one is the one I would recommend the most.
