DIARY 01: Carolina Beach with Friends🌞

Come with me & my friends on a beach day in Carolina Beach !! 🌊

Jenn, Alyssa & I road-tripped down from Raleigh, NC. The drive was 2.5 hours long; but between catching up, listening to music & eating snacks, it went by quickly.

Below I will run through how we spent our day! This will give you ideas on what to do & spots to check out if you’re ever visiting Carolina Beach. And even if you don’t go to this beach, you can still be inspired to have a fun beach day no matter which one you are at 🙌🏼

FIRST STOP: COFFEE ☕️

There is a cute coffee shop called Malama Cafe right behind the Carolina Beach boardwalk — it’s within walking distance from the beach! They have coffee, smoothies, sandwiches, etc, which are absolutely delicious. They are open from 7am-2pm every day. This morning, I got an iced coconut latte with oat milk & Jenn got a cold brew with vanilla. YUM!

NEXT UP: POOL/BEACH TIME! 🌊

We all spent most of the day laying on the beach, munching on snacks, & jumping in the waves to cool off because it was sooo hot outside. We also came up to the pool to read for a while!

ACAI BOWL BREAK 🍓

To take a break from the sun & enjoy a refreshing treat, we went back to Malama Cafe for acai bowls. They were delicious! I got a pitaya bowl & Jenn got an acai bowl. We concluded mine tasted better ;)

SELFIE TIME! 📸

We were having so much fun together that we hardly took photos at the beach, but luckily I remembered to snap a cute selfie post-beach day hehe :)

DONUT TREAT 🍩

Can’t come to Carolina Beach without getting fresh homemade donuts from Britts Donuts!! Their lil shop has been on the boardwalk since 1939. They only have glazed donuts & they only take cash payment. They’re DELICIOUS & always melt in my mouth. I always get extra to bring home.

GOODNIGHT!🌙

After a long & fun day on the beach, we enjoyed pizza for dinner at the end of the night :)
