Mister Donut: Hype or Hypebeast? 🍩🤔

Finally gave Mister Donut a shot, and I'm honestly a bit confused about all the hype. Don't get me wrong, the Pon de Ring was a delightful surprise with its chewy texture. And the Strawberry Ring was a classic donut. But the rest? 🤔

The Golden Chocolate was a bit of a letdown. It was more like a sweet, golden-coated cake than a donut. And the Churros? Well, they weren't really churros or donuts. Just... meh.

As for the Chocolate Fashion, it was slightly better than the chocolate churros. While both had similar flavour profile, chocolate fashion had a slightly crisp exterior, which was a nice touch.

The Custard Cream was decent, but overall these wasn't enough to justify the price. Even with the 6 for $14 deal, I'm not sure I'd go back. Also, their selections were pretty limited for a donut specialty store. It was just those few donut varieties in different flavours.

Maybe I'm missing something? Has anyone tried their collaboration series with Ya Kun or seasonal series with matcha? I've heard good things about those. If you're really curious, I'd recommend waiting for those to be available.
