3 THINGS YOU MUST KNOW BEFORE BUYING PRESS-ONs 🤩

i’ve always been an avid user of press ons 💅 due to my job as an early childhood educator. so here’s 3 important things you should know before you start buying press ons!

1. where to buy?

buy from taobao! taobao offers sooooo many designs from different sellers. plus they’re all very affordable. the sets that i bought were only $6 from a seller (in pic 2). HOWEVER, find sellers that hand make their press ons! Avoid machine printed ❌❌❌ (keyword: 手工）

2. what sizes to buy?

if you are not buying a customised set, sellers usually sell press-ons in general sizes (xs, s, m, l). so you have to measure your nails to see which sizes you fit best. NOW ‼️ if your nails do not match the general sizes, please choose the bigger sizes instead of squeezing into the smaller sizes!!! constantly squeezing your nails into smaller sizes will make your nails hurt and its v unbearable! it is also harder to make the press ons stay, it’ll pop off.

3. how to remove?

if you are using glue, it gets quite hard to remove. please do not forcefully peel it off. instead, soak it in warm water for awhile before using a stick to pop it off. otherwise, do consider buying a nail debonder! it’ll be much easier and quicker to remove.
