My bf and I finally tried Xiang Xiang Hunan Cuisine 湘香湖南菜 @ Causeway Point after hearing all the hype around it and tldr: it’s worth the hype ✨Here’s what we got for our first time there.

Sauerkraut Fish in Golden Soup - $25.90

> I am a huge fan of Tai Er but it can get overly spicy for me sometimes so this is actually perfect because it’s not too spicy yet still 麻(Ma) enough 🙂‍↕️

Hunan Style Stir-Fried Pork - $22.90

> funan fungus adds an interesting texture and the pork is also flavourful, worth a try

Red Oil Pig Ears - $9.90

> not bad! but I would prefer thicker slices so that there’s more crunch, which I think is the whole point of the dish hahah

Ice lemon tea

> it says ‘must try’ but honestly just a huge glass of ice lemon tea 😂 not that I was expecting it to be any different

Overall, we really enjoyed our dinner here! 💫 it was a satisfying meal and the damage was around $80 for 2 pax. Remember to sign up for their free membership to enjoy the member’s prices! 😊 there is also free ice cream and unlimited snacks (like HDL) after your meal to complete the experience:) We agreed that we will definitely be back with more pax to try their other dishes 🤤
