📍Sister Wah Beef Noodles: ⭐️⭐️⭐️

SO worth the hype - loved how flavourful the broth was even though it looked so unassuming, and who doesn’t like tender beef that falls off the bone!!! wished we went back for this 🥹

📍Yat Lok: ⭐️

IMHO, I think this place is really overrated.. i think I like their roast pork over the goose and the overall meal was just okay for SGD$42. Nothing impressive though :/

📍 華勝燒鵝 天后店: ⭐️⭐️⭐️

This place though!! it has a grand total of 20 reviews on Google because tourists don’t come here. we literally only popped by for dinner because it was near our accoms and it looked decent from the outside. Super value for money as compared to Yat Lok and taste is also 👍🏼 worth a try if you’re staying around Tin Hua / Fortress Hill!

📍Bakehouse: ⭐️⭐️⭐️

I get the hype!! Their egg tarts are reallyyy good, only wished mine were hot!

📍Tsim Chai Kee: ⭐️⭐️

They have HUGE wantons and meatballs. Also enjoyed my choice of thin noodles :)

📍Pici Central: ⭐️⭐️

Many outlets across Hong Kong! Will recommend the Cacio e pepe. Service at the Central branch was also fantastic. Definitely check this place out if you need a quick pasta fix :)

📍Tell Camellia: ⭐️⭐️⭐️

We went to 2 bars on this trip and I enjoyed Tell Camellia more. They serve various tea-infused cocktails which is quite unique. Loved my drink Tea Time— white peony tea, raspberry, vodka, honey, cold pressed lemon.

📍The Old Man: ⭐️

I think it’s a more popular spot & the space was also quite cramped :/ drinks were also alright.

📍Shui Kee: ⭐️⭐️

Recommended by a Hong Kongese friend. It was indeed full of locals. the meat was also really tender but I still prefer the soup from Sister Wah🤭 Fried fish skin hits the right spot though.

📍Kam Wah Cafe & Cake Shop: ⭐️⭐️

Read on lemon8 that their polo buns are the BEST so we decided to give it a go out of curiosity. It’s nice but surprisingly I enjoyed the French toast more. Take note that every pax must also order one drink each if you dine in. I was so full by the end this meal.. 🫥 If this stop doesn’t fit well into your itinerary, I honestly think you can skip it. Otherwise, it doesn’t hurt to try and judge the polo bun for yourself 🤣

📍Special mentions!!

- mochi: pls get these mochis if you see them!! they’re from Snowy Savour. I LOVE the mango one because there’s really a whole slice of mango inside?! am thinking of it right now…

- lemonade drink: I forgot the shop name but it’s impossible to miss it in Central. So cute that every drink comes with a duck toy. Is that the only reason I added this spot in this post? Yes. 🦆💕
