With allergies and babies dinners get tweaked…

We always make it work, though!

My husband has an egg allergy (which is a real pain especially when out, restaurants add eggs to lots of things you wouldn’t add them to at home!) — and our daughter showed a few signs of getting little contact rashes every time she ate egg when she first started solids, so I try putting them on her plate often to get her body used to them (at the recommendation of her ped!)

We did an easy breakfast for dinner tonight and all of our plates looked a little different, but it worked out super simply!

🍇 cotton candy grapes

🍓 strawberries

🍗 turkey sausage

🥞 pancakes

🍳 eggs with cheese

🍧 yogurt and peanut butter (for Vi)

Violet goes wildddd for yogurt and fruit so she tore that up and left almost all the rest, a few bites of sausage that she mostly just sucked on for a bit and spit back out 😂 (feeding a 1 year old is so gratifying…🫠🫠🫠)

The only other differences were extra sausages on my husband’s plate to make up for his lack of eggs!

The REAL question is, though…do you let your syrup touch everything on your plate or keep it to pancakes only?! I need to know.
