Why is there a leakage of electricity?

I was lying down and looking at my phone when I felt a sharp pain in my back. Then I noticed that the charging cable was on my bed. Is this device leaking electricity? Is it just my imagination? This has happened more than once! Does anyone know what's going on?#tech #help
