My Review of a Glycolic Peel

So last week I got a Glycolic Peel facial at Rescue Spa in NYC. A glycolic peel is basically where they apply glycolic acid to your skin to help brighten and improve skin texture! There's a lot of super popular over the counter glycolic acids like the one from Paula's choice but the one I did was a bit more intense.

Here are my takeaways:

- I have sensitive skin so my esthetician warned me that my skin might feel a little irritated and I might even experience some peeling. Luckily, I was only a little red for about an hour or so immediately after and my skin didn't peel at all!

- SO important to keep skin super moistrized for the next couple days! I kept my skincare routine super simple and basically just used the two products I mentioned.

Overall, I would say it is so worth it! I was a little nervous at first because I was worried about how my skin would react but I feel like my skin looks so much brighter and it helped get rid of some sun damage from the summer as well as some old acne scars
