Sourdough Chocolate Chip Cookies

These sourdough cookies were probably one of the best chocolate chip cookies I've ever had. My brother told me the same thing, which is a plus, lol. My sourdough journey has helped me make and consume things that are more gut friendly, and I feel less guilt eating things while making gradual changes in my diet for "healthier " options. Want a certain treat? Ok, but let's alter it and add things to it that make it more beneficial for our bodies:) Yes, it'll take a little more time and effort into making something at home from scratch but it'll be more worth it in the end and your body will ultimately thank you. I want to work my way to including sourdough in absolutely anything I can, but baby steps is where it starts. Adding some into things you already make is simple, but I'd like to get to the point where I'm making homemade pasta with it as well, etc. Making every food I possibly can as gut friendly as it can be is one of my goals for 2025. I'm trying to build up my iron naturally as well since my hemoglobin was low at my last blood test, so I've been eating all the dark green veggies, red meat, liver etc. Anything I can do without taking pills.
