Things I Loved in Washington DC

i was lucky enough to get to see washington dc in the summer of 2021 and i wanted to show you guys some of the things i would recommend doing and seeing there!! some of my favorite places were:

1. Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum - it was under construction when i was there, so i didn’t get to see the whole thing, but what i did get to see was so cool and interesting!!

2. Lincoln Memorial - i would totally recommend seeing it at night!! it was absolutely gorgeous!

3. Smithsonian American Art Museum - this place is HUGE. like we only went for a couple hours before it closed, but i could’ve spent the entire day there and probably not seen it all. it was amazing.

4. International Spy Museum - this was so cool!!! there was a ton of fun challenges and things to do and see. from historical spy devices through the use of spies in historical wars, everything here was so fascinating.

5. Smithsonian National Zoological Park - we spent a whole day here!! the animals were so cute and there were so many different types of animals to see. it was so cute!

6. United States Capitol - we didn’t get to go inside, but the whole national mall was so cool!! there are a lot of neat historical buildings to see and natural scenery as well. it was very nice.
