1. Start with brushed and smooth hair.

2. Gather all your hair back into a high ponytail at the crown of your head.

3. Use your hand to smooth out any bumps or flyaways.

4. Twist the ponytail tightly to create a twisted rope-like structure.

5. Instead of closing the ponytail, wrap the bottom through the opening of the hair tie.

6. Secure the bun in place by wrapping the hair tie around it once.

7. Use your fingers to adjust and shape the bun to your liking.

8. Smooth down any remaining loose hairs or flyaways with a bit of hairspray or gel.

9. Voila! You've achieved a sleek and stylish slick back bun with just one hair tie.
