What you should know and how to prepare...
I want to take this chance to thank Megan @meggiberri 🥺🥺 She helped me a lot, from sharing the booth with me until the end of the market! She even bought colored stickers to differentiate the clothes’ price ranges and shared her past Hammock experience with a newbie like me🫥 such a sweetie de😮💨

I 𝙨𝙪𝙗𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙖𝙣 𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙡𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 via the Hammock Market Google form. I chose the booth that came with a rack because I thought hanging the clothes would make it easier for people to choose, but oopsie😅😅!
Waited for 2 weeks, and I got confirmation from Hammock!
Paid around $70 for the booth (which wasn’t too expensive, but it made me want to sell my whole wardrobe, HAHAHA🙂↕️🙂↕️).

🛒Colored stickers: to mark the price
Big, bold price tags: easier for buyers to see
🛒A camping chair if you have one, because the stool they provide wasn’t very friendly for my butt
🛒Some food! Megan bought me fries, sia.
🛒And a lot of energy: prepare to negotiate with everyone, as most people have a very low budget.
We successfully sold about half a suitcase worth of clothes because we tried our best to attract the crowd, but my social battery was drained by the end of the market—there were just too many people!🫠🫠🫠
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿?
🚨People who try to drop your clothes on the floor, as they might try to steal them!
🚨Pre-loved clothes can be priced around $5-15; anything above $20 is a bit hard to sell.
🚨Your energy, hahaha.
Set up at 10 am, damn early to me🫠 BUT people were already flipping through my clothes while I was setting up! So, arrive as early as you can!
In the end, it was a fun day! Thank you to everyone who helped and supported us. We’ll do it again!
