I have always been a person who stresses a lot. I tried everything and anything I could to relieve this stress— working out, going for walks, talking to friends, self-care nights, TV show watching... Nothing really seemed to work for me in the long run. It was not until I went through a rough breakup after leaving my hometown for college that I really began to journal routinely. I have found that it is the one thing that helps me relax and regroup. There are many different forms of journaling and different styles will work for different people. I highly recommend trying out journaling!
