Spicy Strawberry Margarita mocktail

Cinco De Mayo is celebrated with parades and festivities with family and friends. It’s a celebration of cultural pride and history. Celebrate Cinco De Mayo with a spicy strawberry margarita (mocktail)

Here's a recipe for a spicy strawberry margarita:

Ingredients:

2oz lime juice

1/2 oz agave syrup

2oz soda(I used strawberry poppi)

2-3 strawberries, hulled and sliced

1/2 jalapeño pepper, seeded and finely chopped

Tajin for rimming the glass

Ice cubes

Additional sliced strawberries and jalapeño, for garnish

Instructions:

Rim a glass with tajin by rubbing a lime wedge around the rim and dipping the glass into a plate of salt.

In a cocktail shaker, muddle the sliced strawberries and chopped jalapeño until they are well crushed.

Add the lime juice, agave syrup, soda and ice to the shaker and shake until well combined.

Strain the mixture into the tajin-rimmed glass filled with ice.

Garnish with additional sliced strawberries and jalapeño, if desired.
