3 Toxic Reasons for Marrying late🥲

Let me begin by asking a simple #ThisorThat question ⬇️

Do you belong to the group who’s love to settle down early or you’re not a fan of Marriage due to certain fears/ past bad experiences?

For me I used to belong to the latter group and finally got married in my late 30s🥲🎉

In this post, I would like to share some of my life experiences in this area hoping that it will be able to help you in one way or another ❤️

Main Reasons for my Late Marriage

- Fear in marriage due to broken family background and past failed relationships

- Being a Perfectionist, keep searching for the right one to appear fearing that I may end up like my mom

- Setting High expectations for my spouse-to-be due to my own insecurities

I didn’t realize these seemingly harmless reasons

are toxic to me back then until a God-sent angel friend 🕊️ helped to shed some light and for that I’m forever grateful!

So WHAT EXACTLY HAPPENED that caused me to

finally settled down ?

Believe it or not , I found the answers to the reasons above 🙏🏻🙌🏻

Let’s address them one by one ⬇️

🥶FEAR IN MARRIAGE🥶

I managed to free my mind from being trapped by all the ❌wrong beliefs shaped by my past experiences that resulted in Fear.

Now you must be asking, How do I FREE my mind?

I’m sure you heard of this before,

👉It takes a thought to heal a thought

But Whats Most Important is …

⭐️It takes a (powerful 🔥) thought to heal a broken thought 💔

❌I used to try finding answers from self-help books but it didn’t work for me. They’re basically telling me the DOS and DONTS.

The problem with this approach though I understand what they are saying is that - I just COULDNT DO IT

‘despite knowing’

What I needed is perhaps supernatural Strength and Power to get past these mind blocks.

💡Thank God literally, my life took a turn 6 years ago when an angel friend introduces me to embark on a new found Faith Journey 🥲🕊️

✅I decided to have an open mind to receive help and from there I hang on tightly to the True Promises From Above rather than dwelling on the past/ toxic mindset.

Of course it didn’t happen overnight, i noticed a positive shift in mindset and decided to keep spending time in the word to build up my Faith.

⭐️ Here’s what I learnt ⭐️

✅I got to know this verse from the book of 1 John 4:18

“HIS Perfect Love Cast Out Fear” and the revelation from this verse alongside others has freed me from years of bondages in fear😭❤️.

✅I learnt that as humans, whether it’s my parents or partners, they are NOT perfect, so i no longer rely on their imperfect love to make me feel whole.

✅Only by receiving the Perfect Unconditional Love❤️🕊️ from above im able to gain the kind of Strength and Assurance that I’ve been longing for.

Fast forward 6 years since I started my Faith Journey,

I got to know about many TRUTHS that has helped to guide me in my life journey.

My relationship with my mom and late dad has also been fully restored 🙌🏻❤️😭

From a broken individual, I was healed and made whole 🥲🙌🏻. Only then I’m ready to enter into a marriage without demanding unrealistic love from an imperfect spouse.

Instead, we learn to draw strength from above

to help with loving one another 👩🏻‍❤️‍👨🏻

All in all, I’ve learnt that No human would be able to love each other perfectly but God can.
