Three Couples Costumes To Save For Halloween

Halloween has just passed, but it’s never too early to start planning for next year's costume ;). Couples costumes are one of my favorite things to plan. You can get super creative with them or you can just be your favorite dynamic duos. Here are some costume ideas that me and my boyfriend did this year that you can save for next year.

Georgie and Pennywise: “It” is one of my all time favorite horror films. Most guys don’t want to put a lot of effort into dressing up for a couples costume. This is the perfect optional. All he needs is a yellow jacket, jeans, a white t shirt and a red balloon. For the girls, you can get creative with this one. I went with a white tutu, white corset, glued some red pompoms on it, red ribbon in the hair/neck, spray blood, and white shoes. Go crazy with the makeup too! (I can’t do makeup)

Lady Liberty + Tourist: This was one of our last minute costume ideas and it was probably my favorite one. Literally thrifted this green dress an hour before and then my friend had a little lady liberty crown, but you can easily get these on amazon for cheap. For the boy, all they need is a “I LOVE NYC” shirt, some khaki shorts, a camera, maybe a bucket hat, fanny pack, etc. Go crazy!

Winnie the Pooh + Schmidt from New Girl: Okay, this doesn’t really make sense as a couples costume, I know. But I was SUPPOSED to be Cece. However, it was freezing outside so I didn’t want to wear a ponytail and running shorts/tank. But we were supposed to be Cece and Schmidt from the episode where Cece is running a 5k. He got the “See Cece Run” shirt on Amazon for super cheap.
