GoodNotes 5 offers an intuitive and smooth handwriting experience with robust organization and PDF annotations. I used GoodNotes 5 when it was a one-time payment app, but since they made it subscription-based, I switched to Notability. Notability combines note-taking with audio recording, perfect for students.

I now use notability, apple notes and freeform for brainstorming!
