Your Grades Don’t Dictate Your Future

When I was younger, I thought my future was doomed because I had only one ‘O’ level credit. Growing up, I constantly heard that if I didn’t do well in school, I’d end up in low-paying jobs. Can you relate? 🤔

I struggled with low self-esteem, always feeling like I wasn’t smart enough. My first full-time job after National Service was a customer service officer, earning just $1,200 a month. It felt unfair that my salary was defined by my grades.

Here’s what happened next:

• I realized that climbing the corporate ladder would take years, and taking a private diploma would cost money I didn’t have. 🏢💸

• So, I decided to start a business instead. I tried everything—selling portable chargers, joining an MLM, even becoming a real estate agent. 🚀

• I failed… a lot. But I kept going. 💪

Finally, I found success with Art of Marriage, a pre-marriage course for couples. Our first course had just four couples, but soon our numbers grew. 🌱 A year later, I hit my dream salary of $3,000. The rest is history, and it’s been 11 years since! 🎉

What I Learned:

• Your grades don’t define you. Your path is unique. ✨

• Don’t compare yourself to others. Focus on your own journey. 🚶‍♂️

• Keep moving, whether in business or career. The key is not to give up. 🌟
