Random Thoughts

💭What's on my mind: Today has been a long day of stress. These past couple of months people think because they’re invited to family events to invite us, but we either haven’t met the person or when we’re around those people it’s silent treatment. I personally don’t want someone to invite people I don’t talk to my children/family events.

I also believe spouse fights/arguments shouldn’t be turned around towards the children. And some things should never be said to a child regardless of their age or if they can or cannot understand what is being said to them. “Be glad I didn’t leave and become a deadbeat father” is something a child shouldn’t hear from their father.

I feel like the people who use the “they are family, they would never” are always the ones who don’t have your back if something happens and always protect the wrong person instead of protecting the victim. These are also the ones who don’t believe it when it happened.

The funniest people are always saying “not my kids” before they have kids without realizing children are their own people. Just because you set plans to control in your future, just know it doesn’t always happen that way. Along with family members who believe since they have children they can spank, yell, or control what your children do. Does not give them the advantage, everyone parents differently.
