IOS 18 drained my battery 🪫

So I got this iPhone 13 right. In good perfect condition, finally out of contract, I download the iOS 18 because I’m so excited about the calendar updates. Immediately after the update my phone starts glitching out and dying with thin an hour. Slowly getting worse, within 24 hours my phone won’t even stay on without being plugged in. It would be at a 100% unplug boom back to 0%. Two days later my screen popped up the battery swollen and cracks in my screen. Here I am three days later posting from a phone I was not in the position to purchase because my coverage was expired. Yay me. If it’s not one thing it’s another. After researching, as in reading several posts on Reddit I’m not the only one this happened too. I don’t recommend the IOS yet. Talk about something scary. Happy Halloween to me.
