Cilantro Lime Chicken (Crock Pot)

This is one of the easiest recipes ever because the crock pot does everything. I make this once maybe sometimes twice a week & it’s 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Ingredients ⬇️

• 3-4 Chicken Breasts

• a bunch of cilantro

• 1-2 limes (I do two but recipe calls for 1)

• 1 tbsp of cumin

• 1 tbsp of chili powder

• Garlic salt, pepper, paprika, salt, adobo - I don’t measure these, I just sprinkle how much I think

Step 1: Chop cilantro & cut two limes in half, I find it easier measuring everything out before

Step 2: Once again, measuring out before helps. I measure out the cumin & chili powder & the rest of the seasonings I measure to my liking!

Step 3: Lay out chicken breasts (4 of them)

Step 4: I like to kind of layer everything in the crock pot so first i’ll squeeze one lime, put some cilantro, then the chicken, then more seasonings & cilantro, then the next chicken, squeeze the next lime, etc. (This just works best for flavor in my opinion even tho it all mixes in the crockpot😂😂 it’s placebo trust me)

Step 6: ^^ & pour in tomato sauce

Step 7/8: After it’s done cooking, I do 4 hours on high, you just take two forks & shred the chicken in the crock pot. I like to layer the chicken over rice or in flour tortillas for tacos :)
