DIY: Electric Fireplace - Part 1

The house projects continue and I think this has been my favorite one so far!

I’ve seen this DIY electric fireplace all over Pinterest for years and I’ve always wanted to build my own in my house one day and the day has finally come!

All building supplies were bought at The Home Depot. Our first step to designing this fireplace was to order the insert and build the “skeleton” with 2x4s and common boards for the base against the wall.
