Hosting a Christmas Party 🎄🎅🏼

Every year my friends and I plan out a small-get together where we eat tons of yummy festive food, dance around to Christmas music in PJs, and exchange our secret Santa gifts.

The morning is spent cleaning up and preparing to have all the girls over. When it comes to hosting friends over you have to remember the 5 most important things

Decor — this could be anything from mini Christmas trees, Christmas lights, blankets, pillows, table cloths,

Photo backdrop — the easiest way to make this happen is to use a roll of wrapping paper as the main back drop and add anything festive you can find to it. These were dollar store balloons and a package of Christmas lights. It always makes for a perfect photo opportunity!

Sweet snacks — brownies, rice crispy treats, Oreo balls, cookies, peanut brittle, you name it. You can’t go wrong with something sweet!

Salty snacks — my friend Jackie always makes her signature cheese ball with a festive twist. Last year she decided to make it a cute little reindeer and I couldn’t get over how adorable it was!

Festive signs — if you hope on Pinterest you’ll find a ton of cute sayings to have out which also make for a good photo opportunity and it’s just cute overall!

Hosting a Christmas party at home is one of my favorite things to do this time of year. It’s cold and dark out in the winter so it’s nice to just stay in with your girl friends in Christmas Jammie’s and feel like you’re a teenager again. I can’t wait to see how we host our secret Santa party this year!
