EASY DIY COQUETTE BOW SWEATER

Bows and the coquette aesthetic are a MAJOR trend right now! A lot of high end brands have come out with bow embellished pieces, like Love Shack Fancy, which are super pricey! This is a super easy DIY to spice up your sweaters with cute bow details 🎀 this is temporary and you probably already have everything you need!

✂️ You will need:

- a chunky knit sweater with some gaps in the stitching. The chunkier the sweater, usually the bigger the gaps

- ribbon (I preferred one with wire edges)

- scissors

💗Cut a piece of ribbon and thread it through one knit stitch in the sweater

💗 tie the ribbon around that piece of fabric into a bow

💗 the wire edge of the ribbon allows it to hold shape, so you can rearrange it anyway you’d like!

✨you can add these bows anywhere, but I love it at the wrists! Play around with different ribbon colors, fabrics, and widths for different bows! Easily untie the bow and remove it after with no damage to the sweater :)
