IS IT BAD TO SHAVE YOUR FACE?!

A controversial beauty routine is shaving your face (well, and body). A lot of people think that shaving causes hair to grow back thicker and faster, so they don’t like shaving. This is why a lot of people say that shaving your face is “bad”.

I wanted to share my experience since personally, I LOVE it and it has helped my skin so much!

🫧HOW I DO IT:

- the BEST and cheapest razors I have found are from the brand Tinkle on Amazon. I wash my face and shave downwards while the skin is dry, pulling it taught. I then follow with moisturizer only (no other skincare) that night since it is a little irritating.

🫧WHY I LOVE IT:

- no facial hair or peach fuzz

- Skincare works better and I use less skincare since it actually touches my skin and not peach fuzz

- I wear less makeup since it spreads so much smoother (better makeup application and less makeup= less breakouts from product build up)

🫧HAS MY HAIR GROWN BACK WORSE?

- my hair does not grow back darker or worse. If anything, this is comparable to waxing. I used to wax areas of my face and find that it grows back the same 🤷🏼‍♀️

- I do this every two weeks and will continue to forever! I’ve been doing it for years and swear by it
