NTA x Sustainable Baddie x NYFW Event Review

This weekend, I attended the NTA x Sustainable Baddie NYFW event in Brooklyn! The event was both an exhibition and pop up event- featuring different designers/ brands who focus on sustainable fashion and ethical sourcing!

About the event:

✨The event required the purchase of a ticket ($60) to attend. I definitely feel that this price was fair/ worth it. Upon entering, you check in with your ticket and are free to explore.

✨At the front of the space was the exhibition, where each designer had 1-2 models wearing their unique looks for you to view. The models were also styled for full looks besides just the garments from the designer (ex: hair, makeup, and jewelry from Blue Bone Jewelry!). There was an info card on each designer/ brand, and many of the designers stood nearby to answer questions or teach you about their process! Designers part of the exhibition: Vendetta, Spilt Milk, Noè Dresses, Natalia Trevino Amaro, Meta Vocus, Vaed, and Cool Girl Clothes Co.

✨To the right of the exhibition, was the pop- up shop space. This is where many of the designers from the exhibition offered their pieces for sale, and you could purchase/ bring them home that day! Pop- Up vendors included: Vaed, Cool Girl Clothes Co., Natalia Trevino Amaro, Meta Vocus, Blue Bone Jewelry, Vendetta, and Spilt Milk. It was so cool to such such unique, handmade pieces! I personally picked up a few bracelets from Blue Bone Jewelry and was excited to see Cool Girl Clothes Co., who I already own a few pieces from!

✨Photo Ops: the entrance area has a cool white backdrop with neon colored lights where you can take pics!

✨Refreshments: fridge was stocked with different sodas!

✨Goodie bag: I received a good bag with a shampoo bar as well as a free pair of earrings, stickers, and liquid lipstick.

⭐️Overall, I rate this event a 10/10! I loved that it was ~chill~ (you could come and go and explore as you please) which is refreshing compared to the usual tight schedules of NYFW events. The designers created such beautiful pieces, the set up was organized, and I had a great time speaking to designers and event attendees! I highly recommend going next year if they host again!
