WHY I STOPPED GETTING LASH EXTENSIONS

For about two years, I was hooked on eyelash extensions! I was truly addicted and thought I would never stop getting them. I have had them off now for a year and a half and removing them was one of the best decisions I made.

💄 Here are the reasons why i stopped getting eyelash extensions:

✨noticeable gaps between appointments: the extensions shed with your natural eyelashes. You can not see this occurring with natural lashes since they are so small, but it is extremely noticeable with long extensions. I hated how this would look!

✨extreme eye irritation: the lashes caused my eyes to feel itchy and were very hard to get makeup like eyeshadow out of. This would cause my eyes to look red and teary after getting them filled

✨hard to see my eyes: looking back at pictures, the lashes were so dense and distracted from my natural beauty by covering up a lot of my eyes

✨cost: fills were about $45 every 3 weeks. This adds up!

✨upkeep: finding the time to get a fill every 3 weeks with a busy work schedule was extremely inconvenient

⭐️Overall, it’s not something I would do again, and now much prefer just wearing mascara since it is easy, cheaper, more natural looking, and more convenient!
