Pros and cons of commuting to college

I’ve been a commuter the whole time I’ve been in school. I started at a community college where everyone was commuting. But I transferred to a 4 year university, it feels like half the people live there and half people commute. I think we have more commuters though. I did come half way through the school year which was really hard and I don’t recommend lol.
