After coming back from a trip, we had no groceries and it was time for a good stock up haul!!
I typically go to the grocery once every two weeks. Meal prepping comes in great handy for my partner and I, but so does having a labeling system for when food expires/ when we should freeze it by.
We eat high protein based and pair it with a variety of veggies, daily. Most of our groceries are for lunches and dinners as we stick to protein shakes for breakfast, or other cortisol balancing foods like oatmeal’s and yogurts.
Omega 3’s are important for me to get in, so I try and eat a lot of fish and fibrous veggies. This helps balance my cortisol and hormonal levels, while keeping dairy at a minimum- which messes up my body and its regulation.
Rotisserie chicken is a great protein to meal prep with! You can use it in so many ways!
