If you love fried chicken but are watching your weight, this high protein, lower calorie option can be a life saver for you! Hot and crispy, say no more to KFC, and make your own delicious chicken tenders at home!

Ingredients:

Chicken Breast (I used 180g raw chicken / 192 kcal 51.58g protein)

1 Egg White (17 kcal 3.6g protein)

Mission Hot & Spicy Tortilla Chips (I used 1.5 servings / 37.5g / 175kcal 2.7g protein)

Nando’s Peri Peri Sauce (I used 1 serving / 20g / 11 kcal)

Seasoning: Salt, Black Pepper, Garlic Powder, Paprika

1. Cut up chicken breast into smaller pieces

2. Season generously and mix well

3. Dip chicken breast into egg white

4. Crush up tortilla chips

5. Coat the chicken breast piece by piece with the tortilla chips

6. Airfry in preheated air fryer at 200 degrees for 12 minutes

7. Flip at the half way mark to ensure even cooking

8. Enjoy!

Additional Tips:

- You can use plain cornflakes if you want to decrease the overall caloric content

- Coat air fryer with some oil to prevent burning/sticking to the pan

- Less pieces of chicken breast means less chips needed as surface area is smaller
