Everyone is insecure in their own ways, even the prettiest/strongest/social-able of people can have their own set of insecurities. I recently talked to my friend about my insecurities and I laid them out one by one. There weren’t many, just a handful of small stupid things. 😥 But these were enough to make me feel like im not good enough; basically make me feel like crap these few weeks.

I have been feeling these emotions and insecurities for awhile now, and they come and go. On some days/weeks, I beat them. I am my best self. I have the strength to ignore them. On some days I let them eat me up. I let them wrap around my head the first thing in the morning and then let them ruin my day. There are ups and downs. The worst part about feeling insecure is how TIRING it is 😩 It is super tiring to constantly worry over it, to feel that im not enough, to have my mood ruined over just some minute thing that PFFT 😮‍💨 Its been going on for awhile now and I decided I needed to do something about it.

💗 It may or may not work in the long run, but in process of going through it the past week, its been good so far.

👑 I list out ALL the things I feel insecure about > go through them and absorb the feeling of feeling insecure. Then I list out the reasons of why I feel insecure. You have to be truthful about it. If you find it hard to talk to yourself, talk to a friend or family! Find someone who understands your POV and not mock you for it. Rant, cry, whatever, be in the moment. Once you are done, state how you are going to overcome it, then follow it. Dont go with extremities, do something you KNOW you can do, but takes practice. I think this pushes your mental strength and your state of mind.

👑 I exercise more often > the gym is my safe space; or exercising in general. I get happier there and i just can’t be bothered by the negative thoughts out there because your girl is busy catching her breath. Find something you like to do; put your focus on that thing and if you catch your thoughts wandering into your insecurities, either you use the time to slowly guide yourself back on track, or ignore ir completely. Since you are in a happier environment, you will find it easier to gravitate away from your insecurities.

👑 I praise myself every night > I tell myself 3 positive things I did today and I tell myself 1 thing I can improve on. Praising yourself can be as simple as “you ate your lunch on time, thats good!” << because I tend to eat it at 3+ 4 pm omg. And things like “you drank 8 glass of water today! Great!” Parsing yourself feeds your inner child and is a good way to keep yourself positive.
