Nature Lover’s Dream - Longwood Gardens

Hey beauties, living in the city it can be a lot sometimes so I’m always looking to get away and connect with nature, breathe some fresh air and slow down. Luckily there are tons of opportunities just outside of Philadelphia. Longwood Gardens is a short (less than an hour depending on where you are) car ride from the city and it’s acres of pure beauty!

Located in Chester County Philadelphia, the gardens are open daily from 10am. Tickets are required and start at $25 but there are discounts for seniors, college students, etc

There are guided tours available or you can wander around the gardens on your own. There are tons of exhibits both indoor and outdoor and there are so many cute photo opportunities. If you plan to stay the day there are a few options for food including a beer garden where you can grab a drink 🍻.

Visiting in spring and summer is the best time to see tons of flowers bloom and in the winter months it becomes a wonderland with lights and even musical event.

It’s definitely a great way to spend a day outside of the city
