Have you ever been looked down upon by SAs? 🫤

Loewe is my favourite luxury brand. ✨

As someone who occasionally indulges in luxury, I have a couple of my ultimate dream bags that are from Loewe. I love them and use them well :) However, the in-store experiences were my biggest turn-offs.

These are just my opinions, from my experience and pov :

I’ve visited the Loewe store at Ion Orchard a couple of times now, and this is why I will never purchase anything from there.

👎🏼 Sales Assistants were judgemental and rude.

I’m an active person who always rushes around and happen to pop by the Loewe store (both Ion and MBS) in my workout gear and sometimes sandals. I get that it is etiquette to dress properly when visiting luxury stores, but not everyone wears pretty dresses and skirts all the time. I love how not 1, not 2, but at least 3 to 4 of the staff there immediately gave me a bored face with not so approachable conversations, all from different occasions.

• 1st SA : “just buy lor…” walks off.. 😐

• 2nd SA : saw my crocs and average backpack and gave up assisting. There were no other customers.

• 3rd SA : insisted on showing me a different bag when I requested to look at the mini flamenco. I only saw the bag hanging on display and couldn’t get to try it :’(

• 4th SA : “this bag have to order. You just see from website and let me know if you want.”

Not sure if this is the Singaporean way of customer service, but it sure didn’t feel good. The SAs from other brands and even the MBS branch were so much friendlier, and they look happier to serve.

Experience is so important to me. I don’t usually like being followed around, but to feel like I’m being looked down upon and feel like they were all hoping for me to leave soon, speaks very poorly of the sales assistants of a luxury brand.

I will purchase from MBS, or overseas just as long as I have a better shopping experience, or maybe not even purchase at all 🙃
