Cheesy Taco Sticks Recipe

Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef

1 packet taco seasoning

1/2 cup water

8 oz shredded cheddar cheese

1 tube refrigerated pizza dough

2 tablespoons butter, melted

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon paprika

1/4 cup chopped cilantro (for garnish)

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.

Add the taco seasoning and water to the beef, stirring to combine. Simmer for 5 minutes, or until the sauce thickens. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into a large rectangle. Cut into 10-12 equal strips.

Place a spoonful of the seasoned beef mixture along each strip of dough and top with a generous amount of shredded cheese.

Fold the dough over the beef and cheese mixture, pinching the edges to seal tightly.

Place the taco sticks on the prepared baking sheet. Brush each one with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic powder and paprika.

Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and crispy.

Garnish with chopped cilantro before serving. Serve with salsa, sour cream, or guacamole for dipping.
