- slayyyy. Flavour profile is rich, strong and forthcoming, but well-balanced.

Mentaiko was complex! It had so many different textures and flavours. The penne was Al-dente, mixed with the small bubbles of Tobika (fish roe), paired w the sweet and umami flavoured Mentaiko sauce. It was a very good mix of texture and flavour. Rich and strong, and smack in your face kind. I wouldn’t say the Mentaiko is so rich that it masks the other flavours, it balanced well with the taste of the pasta as well.

- Scallops were seared well to perfection, soft and firm, providing a very savoury aspect to the dish.

- These flavour profiles takes you on a journey of cheese -> Pasta -> black pepper. It guides you through the process. Very well made.

- When I first saw the black pepper I thought, oh no the whole dish is gonna be black pepper. But nope! The cheese was the first thing i tasted, the saltiness and cheesiness. Followed by the texture of the pasta and how the cheese mixed w the pasta produces a different flavour profile all together. It actually makes the cheese taste subtle. When I finished processing those flavours, the strong black pepper hits me, and it gives a strong finish to an otherwise light dish. Don’t get me wrong, I like it, because having too light flavours is not my cup of tea. But this is a mix of it all!

✨Tiramisu✨ - $8.90

- nothing to rave about tbh. They’re not known for the tiramisu, but their pasta! I do like the strong coffee and rum flavours to the lady fingers, but it’s kinda small tho.

- meh. Nothing great but it’s alright. But Of course cause it’s housepour…

- Yes! Ambience is great, very cozy and cute little place! I love it, the staff are very helpful and would give you recommendations! 10/10 would recommend and would go back again

Summary:

- great food, great pasta! Can give dessert a miss, Yat Ka Yan is right beside. Lovely cozy atmosphere, great staff.
