Best brands for basics

I like to dress pretty basic and style the clothes I own in many different ways. This is why I own a good amount of staple pieces that I can wear many ways. I have tried many brands in search of good basics, so here are the ones I would recommend the most:

Brandy Melville

I love shopping at Brandy Melville because the clothes are pretty good quality for a really affordable price. I mostly get tank tops, t-shirt and long sleeve basics there, because they fit me well and go with everything. Although, I don’t think they have the best pants selection, and they don’t usually fit me very well.

Skims

This brand is on the more expensive side, but I think that buying pieces from there is a good investment for sure. The clothes are really good quality, super comfortable and flattering on everyone. I also think they can you a long time and won’t really go out of style, since they are so basic and versatile. For example, I’ve had the cotton jersey tees and long sleeves for almost a year and they still look the same as when I bought them.

Aritzia

I think Aritzia is somewhere between affordable and expensive, depending on what item you buy. For example, their t-shirts are thick, comfortable and flattering for prices around 25$, which I think is pretty reasonable. I really like their bodysuits because I find them very flattering, and I personally think they are worth the price.
