My Kitchen Layout

Morning Lemoners,

I love the simplicity of the one-wall and galley kitchen layout and incorporate it into my kitchen design. One-wall kitchen layouts are similar to galley kitchens, which have two rows of cabinets and countertops separated by one aisle and I add an island in the middle.

So, let me walk you through the 3 major sections of my kitchen that I think made it really functional.

1. The pantry - it is attached to the main kitchen and having it right next to my main cooking area is definitely life-changing!

2. The main cooking area - major kitchen appliances are in this section (such as a cooking hood, hob, oven & fridge).

3. The prep section (or the island) - having a sink on the island made it easy for me to prep my meal and the fact that it is parallel to my cooking area made my cooking experience the great one!
