is nami island still worth the hype?

From my personal experience, unfortunately no :(

i booked a package to visit alpaca world and nami island on the same day. Journey took about 1hr from our lunch spot which was 0.5hr away from the alpaca world.

We went around spring-summer and as expected, the island wasnt that exciting…it was definitely worth it to go during winter (i took a picture then and my friends asked if it was photoshopped!)

But as you can see from the pictures, it just looks like any other forest/garden that you can get back at home.

I would not recommend wasting $$ on biking/charity train as the whole journey was very walkable. Can easily take 20-30mins only.

Got really bored aft 1 hr so we decided to sit at the cafe/rest area. Our main source of entertainment was the peacock that jumped onto tables and ate ppl’s hotteok. ⚠️SO GUARD YOUR HOTTEOKS ⚠️

Anyways, these are my personal opinions, if you had a great time, leave it down in the comments! Maybe i’ll consider visiting again ~
