The big chop 😳 on 4c hair texture

I did my big chop one year ago. So far so good. I have 4c hair but I have yet to wear my natural hair in public. Every since I cut my hair I’ve been doing protective hair styles back to back. So I have a few questions for my natural hair girlies.

1) Is this a good length for my hair to be at after one year or are the protective hair styles causing my hair to grow slow?

2) What are some good natural hair products for 4c hair?

3) How often should I trim my ends? (P.s I don’t trim my ends that much)

- Can you guys leave tips on what I can do better to take care of my hair. 😊
