We started collecting books. We decided on a name. We found the house. We started renovations. We knocked down walls, bashed holes in the ceiling, ripped up carpet. We peeled so. much. dang. wallpaper. We picked out paint colors. We have finally started to see this crazy idea come together. Now, we announced it to the world.

This has been a work in progress since Fall of 2021, and to see it start to come to fruition is exciting, scary, and everything in between. I’m excited to keep a little journal here on the whole process.
