3 Ingredient Mango Ice Cream: Easy Recipe!

One of my favorite things to do in the summer is make ice cream! You don’t even need an ice cream machine to create your own homemade ice cream. This recipe only needs 3 ingredients and it tastes especially delicious from the fresh mango puree! Hope you give it a try!

3 Ingredient Mango Ice Cream

INGREDIENTS

🥭 100 gram heavy cream

🥭 2 Cup ripe mango puree (from approx 3 champagne mangoes)

🥭 ¼ Cup granulated white sugar

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1: Dice the mangoes for the puree and reserve some for topping if desired.

Step 2: Blend it to a smooth puree along with sugar without using any water. You should have 2 cups of mango puree after blending.

Step 3: Whip the cream using a hand mixer, stand mixer, or immersion blender till soft peaks form.

Step 4: Add mango puree in the whipped cream. Whisk using the hand blender or spatula for 1 – 2 minutes or until well combined. Taste and if required add more sugar accordingly.

Step 5: Pour the ice cream into a freezer friendly container with a lid. Freeze for 5 – 6 hours or until set.

Step 6: Stand for 5 minutes to soften slightly, then scoop and serve with additional fresh mango if desired.

I halved all the ingredients in the original recipe because I wanted to try a smaller portion. This creamy mango ice cream is not too sweet and is very refreshing. It was so easy to make! I love how the ingredients are few and you know exactly what’s in it. I like eating it with the fresh diced mango as a topping. I think it really intensifies the flavor.
