top spots to see in oregon

Oregon was one of my favorite states i’ve ever visited and there is so much to choose from when looking at things to do.

The coast was my favorite part starting with cannon beach. This cute little coastal town had places to shop, places to eat and places to just sit on the beach and listen to the waves crash by. The sunsets here are gorgeous and are absolutely worth checking out. Also on the coast is Astoria oregon. The goonies was filmed here and it was so gloomy and eerie the day I went. I loved the moodiness and explored the shoreline half of the day. I was able to see starfish and all sorts of ocean life.

Moving away from the coast is multnomah falls. This waterfall can be seen right off of the highway but it’s even more breathtaking to get out and look. You can even hike to the top which I did do. Lastly, God’s thumb is a hike located near the coast as well and was so worth it to see the ocean from up there. The hike was a little scary at times getting out to the “thumb” but it was so amazing.
