DITL of a dermatology medical assistant 🩹💉

Thought it would be fun to show just a small glimpse of what we do in dermatology as medical assistants! Working in dermatology is the most rewarding career because we get to help so many people everyday. We are our doctors right hand man and assist them with rooming patients, taking patient intake, sending prescriptions, assisting in skin cancer removal through surgery and help them with biopsies (just today we had a lot 25!) We do all the cleaning, setting up rooms, helping with phototherapy treatments, laser treatments & suture removals. Make sure to schedule your skin checks and get those moles checked 👌🏼
