why eat japanese food in Korea?

well, that’s the most common question i got when i posted about this for the first time 😭

Yummy, Udon Gyoza

i chanced upon this place by chance while looking for lunch options and this cute looking japanese udon place had a long line of people! i decided to give this a try and waited for about half an hour since it was lunch time - time flew past quickly since i went to explore other cute shops in the vicinity too 👍🏻

this place gotta be one of the best japanese meals i’ve ever eaten and i can’t believe that no one recommended this place! it’s something unique as you don’t get to have unique udon combinations elsewhere, such as their signature manila clams udon (i didn’t take a photo of that) and the seafood meat ball udon! its about 12.9k won per bowl! pretty reasonable for the quality and portion too 👍🏻👍🏻

AAAAANNDDDED- you need to try their cheese mentaiko gyoza 🧀🥟!!!! it’s so CRISPY AND JUICY with all the cheese too 😋 you gotta share it with someone because it’s so filling, especially when you already have one bowl of udon…

💰 Price: very reasonable (10k ~ 20k won per person)

whenever you’re around hongdae, walk over to yeonnam-dong for all the underrated cafes, shops and THIS UDON PLACE 👍🏻 you won’t regret it 😋
