Romance + Fantasy = Romantasy 💘✨

Hi everyone!

So in the book community there is a sudden new wave of trend called Romantasy books. It didn't have a name before but I think it started last year, during the 2023 nominations for the Goodreads Choice Awards 🤗

Romantasy was introduced then (at least that's what it did to me) and it did cause quite the stir especially for some authors who mainly write middle grade books (because this genre is no longer a part of it). So long story short, now we have a new genre on the block 👀

Romantasy is basically a YA or adult series focused mainly on the fantasy elements especially the world building and of course romance 💕✨

Some of them are good while some of them are just way too overhyped. This is just my opinion though 😚
