St. Louis Brunch spot and coffee flight!

Latte Lounge was definitely on my list of must try places in St. Louis mostly because I was determined to try a coffee flight! Super cute atmosphere, great service, extensive menu. This place is popular with the locals so go early to avoid long wait times. Ok let’s get into in….

Latté Lounge + HG Eatery

🦐 Shrimp and grits: $18 (side of catfish $9)

I hate to say this but to be honest they just didn’t hit like they should’ve. They also have on their menu catfish and grits ( I know sounds like a crazy combo 🤪) which the hostess was saying was her favorite item on the menu, so after being a bit disappointed with the shrimp and grits, broke down and ordered a side of catfish just to give it a try! And that’s definitely where it’s at ORDER THE CATFISH!!!! I’m telling you the best catfish ever had! Not greasy, nice and crispy but tender and flaky on the inside, good flavor it was 100/10 for me!!! (Sorry ate it so fast didn’t get a pic 😅)

🥞 Breakfast Trio: $15.75

This was a solid order! Was very happy with everything but how can you really mess up on such a classic breakfast. I would have to say the scrambled eggs was my favorite of the 3 items idk they were perfectly cooked and lots of flavor

☕️ Coffee Flight: $25

Which is essential the whole reason I picked this place, was so yum! They offered it hot or iced obviously chose iced. Altogether for all five cups you’re looking at 10 shots of espresso so beware! The first cup which should have been a plain latte, I actually upgraded to there seasonal latte they were featuring which was a camfire s’more’s latte yes it tasted as good as it sounds. That should have been an up charge but for whatever reason when the bill came it wasn’t, so that was nice. Also if you swap out for a specialty “milk” that too can be an up charge as well. One last thing I should mention if you are not able to finish the whole flight they do provide you with a Togo cup so you can sip on your latte later.
