Running Late, But First… Starbucks✨☕️

I wrote a little poem about my morning Starbucks stops😂😂😂

Late for work, but who’s keeping track?

Gotta stop at Starbucks, there’s no turning back.

An overpriced coffee, a tiny egg bite,

Worth every penny, though my wallet’s light.

Hunger’s gone… for about ten minutes,

By noon, I’ll regret the price within it.

But hey, that’s future me’s concern—

Right now, this caffeine’s my only burn.

Am I later? Sure, by a few more ticks,

But this cup of joy? Yeah, it’s worth the fix.

The world can wait, I’ve got my brew,

What’s another five minutes in traffic, too?

Late, broke, and full of regret,

But damn, that sip’s the best one yet!
